The character in the Bible with constant teenage angst is Jonah. Always complaining to God and those around him, cantankerous Jonah wanted anything but the direction God had in mind.
• God has a plan for all of us. It may not be the easiest plan, but we have to cling to the belief that God has our best interests in store.
• Sometimes we think we need our ducks in a row before we can say ‘yes’ to God but if that was the case we wouldn’t need grace, our own gifts and abilities would be enough! It’s only by grace alone we are called songs and daughter of the Father. We can say ‘yes’ because he first said ‘yes’ to us.

• What would it take to turn your ‘not yet’ into a ‘yes’?
